Project Story: Flower Folk Website
It’s not every day that you find a client like Flower Folk—one that is providing an amazing product/service but also one that is an absolute joy to work with. Check out the full story below on our project creating a stunning new website for the Santa Barbara-based florist, Flower Folk.
THE CLIENT
Flower Folk, a Santa Barbara-based florist that is revolutionizing the way that people purchase flowers. Goodbye grocery store bouquets, hello amazingly fresh, locally-sourced, stunning bouquets delivered straight to your door (if you are in the Santa Barbara area, that is). Talk about a breath of fresh… flowers!
THE PROJECT
As mentioned above, Flower Folk offers beautiful, one-of-a-kind bouquets on a one-time or subscription basis, all delivered straight to the customer’s home, office, or wherever else they might need some gorgeous, fresh flowers. Thus, Flower Folk was in need of a visually-appealing, user-friendly website to which customers could visit and purchase flowers from online seamlessly—the command center of Flower Folk. Cue JoieWorks.
THE PROCESS
From the beginning, we focused heavily on not only what Lizzy needed her site to do, but also what she wanted it to look and feel like. Functionality and aesthetic were at top of mind, ensuring customers would have a pleasant, memorable and fuss-free experience when visiting the site.
THE RESULT
A beautiful, user-friendly website that Flower Folk is not only thrilled with, but that they are confident in using and updating and eager to show off. It was a focus of JoieWorks to create a site that not only enticed customers and was easy for them to use and make purchases, but also to create one that Flower Folk felt confident in using autonomously moving forward.
